Scolded, Class 10 student shoots at teacher

Lucknow, Feb 28 (IANS) A Class 10 student here, scolded for not wearing his school uniform, shot at his teacher Saturday, the police said.
“Shivam Trivedi, a Class 10 student of the Red Rose School in Vishnulok colony in Sarojini Nagar locality Saturday afternoon fired at his class teacher Akhilesh Mishra outside the school,” police inspector Abhiskek Sirohi told IANS.

“Mishra is being treated at a hospital, where his condition is said to be critical,” he added.

Trivedi was scolded Saturday morning in front of other students by Mishra for not wearing his school uniform.

Trivedi straightway returned home to get his father’s revolver, who is employed with the DRM (divisional railway manager) office here.

“Trivedi shot at Mishra when he came out of the school,” Sirohi said.

Trivedi is absconding after the incident, the police said.
