School official shot at
October 13th, 2011 - 11:31 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 13 (IANS) A senior functionary of a private school was fired at in west Delhi, police said Thursday. However, he escaped unharmed.
The incident occurred Wednesday night when Rajender Gautam, 54, vice chairman of St. Thomas School in Dwarka, was on his way to home in west Delhi’s Janakpuri area.
“He had reached Sector 18 in Dwarka when two motorcycle borne assailants came from behind and opened fire at his car,” a police officer said.
However, Gautam managed to escape the attack unharmed and called the police.
The attackers are still untraced.
