School girl shot dead by suitors in Jharkhand
February 24th, 2012 - 7:45 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, Feb 24 (IANS) A school girl who was taking the ongoing class ten board examinations in Jharkhand was allegedly shot dead Friday by two boys believed to be infatuated with her, police said.
According to police, the girl, a resident of Raj Dhanwar of Giridih district, around 210 km from Ranchi, was shot at by the two boys when she was on way to the exam hall. She died while being taken to hospital.
The two boys who allegedly shot the girl have been identified as Rohit and Raj. Police sources say that the boys were infatuated with the girl. When they did not get the desired response from the girl, they shot her dead.
