School children hurt in accident
December 22nd, 2011 - 1:29 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 21 (IANS) Seven children going home from school in an autorickshaw were injured when the vehicle turned turtle in east Delhi Wednesday, police said.
The injured boys and girls were heading home in Khora Colony in Ghaziabad from their government school in Mayur Vihar when the accident took place on Murga Mandi bridge in Ghazipur area.
The autorickshaw driver was trying to prevent a collision with a car when the incident took place.
The injured children were from Classes 1, 4, 5 and 10. They were discharged from hospital after first aid, police said.
