Sathya Sai Baba showing slow response to treatment
April 13th, 2011 - 8:12 pm ICT by IANSHyderabad, April 13 (IANS) Spiritual leader Sathya Sai Baba under treatment for multi-organ failure is showing positive but slow response to the treatment, a medical bulletin said Wednesday.
“He is still on ventilator and is on intermittent hemodialysis. His vital parameters of health are nearly normal,” the bulletin issued by the Sathya Sai Super Specialty Hospital at Puttaparthi said.
“The continued stable state of health is a matter of satisfaction to the treating team of doctors, although he continues to be critical,” the bulletin said.
The 85-year-old spiritual leader, who has millions of devotees in India and abroad, was admitted to the hospital March 28 with pneumonia and breathing problems.
