Sarkozy to pay homage to 26/11 victims (Lead)

Mumbai, Dec 7 (IANS) French President Nicolas Sarkozy Tuesday arrived in India’s financial capital on the final leg of his four-day visit to India.
He will attend a commemorative function at Hotel Trident-Oberoi to pay homage to victims of the 2008 terror attack by Pakistani terrorists. The hotel was one of the places that came under attack.
The president, who is accompanied by wife Carla Brun and top officials, will also meet business leaders at the nearby Taj Hotel.
Sarkozy travelled to Mumbai from Delhi where he met President Pratibha Patil and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. He has also visited Bangalore and the Taj city Agra earlier.
