Saina reaches final of Indonesia Open Super Series
June 25th, 2011 - 3:59 pm ICT by IANSJakarta, June 25 (IANS) Defending champion Saina Nehwal of India moved into the final of the Indonesia Open Super Series badminton with a fighting 21-14, 14-21, 21-17 victory over Shao Chieh Cheng of Chinese Taipei Saturday.
In the final, she will meet the winner of the match beween Chinese Yihan Wang and Yanjiao Jiang.
Fourth seeded Saina, who is looking for a hat-trick of Indonesia Open title, took 45 minutes to go past unseeded Chieh Cheng, who upset top seed Shixian Wang of China in the second round.
Saina had lost to Chieh Cheng in the Singapore Open last week in the second round.
