Rs.one crore black money seized in West Bengal
April 21st, 2011 - 7:53 pm ICT by IANSKolkata, April 21 (IANS) Black money amounting Rs.one crore in cash has been seized from different areas of poll-bound West Bengal since last month, an Election Commission official said Thursday.
“In West Bengal, right from the announcement of polls March 1, we have seized Rs.one crore of cash in different seizures from different areas,” Deputy Election Commissioner Vinod Zutshi told media persons in Hooghly.
Zutshi said the seizures of illegal money would be continued.
