Rs.9 mn looted from Karachi bank
April 15th, 2011 - 1:05 am ICT by IANSKarachi, April 14 (IANS) Robbers looted Rs.9 million from a bank in the Pakistani port city of Karachi Thursday, a media report said.
The armed robbers looted a branch of the Muslim Commercial Bank in the Jodia Bazaar area, Geo News reported citing the Pakistan Press International (PPI) news agency.
The robbers barged into the bank, held staff and customers hostage at gunpoint and decamped with the booty, it said.
