Rs.800,000 stolen from car in Delhi
January 7th, 2010 - 3:10 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Jan 7 (IANS) A bag containing Rs.800,000 in cash was stolen from a car in the national capital, police said Thursday.
Raj Kumar Bansal had parked his car in D block market in northwest Delhi’s Prashant Vihar Wednesday night when the incident took place.
“I went to meet someone in the market and when I came back the rear window of the car was smashed and the briefcase containing the cash was missing,” said Bansal.
“A complaint has been registered and we are investigating the matter,” a police officer said.
