Rs.7.6 mn looted from ICICI bank
October 4th, 2010 - 9:28 pm ICT by IANSRaipur, Oct 4 (IANS) Armed men stormed Monday into an ICICI bank branch in Chhattisgarh and took away over Rs.7.6 million in cash, police said.
The incident took place at Raigarh, some 250 km from here.
“Six robbers locked a few customers and staff in a room at gun point and managed to escape with over Rs.7.6 million. The CCTV footage has captured faces of some robbers and our probe is on,” Rahul Sharma, superintendent of police (Raigarh), told IANS over phone.
