Rs.1 lakh snatched from 75-year-old
June 17th, 2011 - 7:29 pm ICT by IANSNoida, June 17 (IANS) Two motorcycle-borne robbers Friday snatched a bag containing Rs.1 lakh from a 75-year-old man in Noida, police said.
Ramswarup, a resident of Sector 56, had withdrawn the cash from the Syndicate Bank branch in Sector 18 and was walking towards the parking lot, when the two men on a motorbike passed by him, snatched the bag containing the money, and fled.
“We have registered a case on Ramswarup’s complaint and are trying to nab the robbers,” said Inspector Vijay Prakash of Sector 20 police station.
