Rs. 700,000 looted from petrol pump owner in Ranchi

- Ranchi, July 13 (IANS) Unidentified criminals looted around Rs.700,000 from a petrol pump owner in Ranchi Monday, police said.
According to police, Gautam Ghosh, owner of Friends Automobiles as also a petrol pump near Katatoli roundabout of Ranchi, was going to deposit around Rs.700,000 in a bank. Five unidentified persons arrived on two bikes and snatched the money bag at gun point and escaped.
Ghosh has lodged a first information report (FIR) in Lower Bazar Police station in Ranchi and the police have launched investigations.
