Road rage: Three held for firing at motorist
October 11th, 2011 - 8:16 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 11 (IANS) Three men, all in their 20s, have been arrested for shooting at a motorist after their cars collided here, police said Tuesday.
Manjeet, Sudhir and Ajay were arrested for firing at Neeraj in Kanjhawala area of north Delhi Monday evening.
“Neeraj, alongwith his friends, was going in his Accent car when a Honda City coming from the opposite side hit their car from the front,” a police officer said.
The trio in the Honda City started arguing with Neeraj and his friends and smashed the window panes of their car.
They also attacked them with a baseball bat and iron rod. When Neeraj tried to escape, Manjeet shot him, injuring him in the right thigh, before fleeing the spot.
