Road rage: BJP councillor beaten up

New Delhi, Nov 7 (IANS) A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) councillor and his brother were beaten up by four youths after the duo’s car scraped past their vehicle here Monday, police said.
Vikaspuri (east) councillor Balbir Tyagi and his brother Vikas Tyagi were heading towards their home in west Delhi’s Tilak Nagar, when they hit the youths’ Tata Ace tempo in Vikas Kunj area.
“They two were in their Honda City car, which scraped past the tempo. The groups had an argument, after which the two were beaten up,” a police officer said.
The victims were admitted to hospital where their condition is stated to be stable.
The youths, identified as Rajesh, Amit, Gopal and Amit, have been arrested. The four, all in their 20s, work in a transport company.
