Road accident sparks violence (Lead)
September 27th, 2010 - 5:37 pm ICT by IANSLucknow, Sep 27 (IANS) A mob clashed with police and damaged several vehicles in an Uttar Pradesh town after a speeding bus killed a man and his son, police said.
Demanding the bus driver’s arrest, people in Keerutpur town, 300 km from here, attacked police with bricks and even tried to torch police vehicles. The victims were identified as Madulla (42) and his son Kamil (21).
Police inspector Shoaib Khan said in Bijnore that the situation in the town was tense but under control.
