Retired brigadier’s son jumps off building
December 16th, 2010 - 8:49 pm ICT by IANSNoida, Dec 16 (IANS) A son of a retired army officer, working as a tea garden estate manager, committed suicide Thursday by jumping from his seventh floor apartment in Noida, police said. Prashant Antal, 37, son of Brigadier (retired) J.S. Antal, leapt to his death from his Ram Vihar apartment in Sector 30 at about 3.30 a.m., a police officer said.
His father immediately rushed him to Kailash Hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
The deceased was survived by his wife and a five-year-old son, a police officer said.
