black-friday-09 Nov. 28, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Most of the retailers have planned different attractive offers and declared profitable bargains for the customers so that they can attract substantial number of customers to their store. Initial results of the Black Friday sales reported by sources stated that like every year, this year a huge crowd had gathered for shopping on the early hours of Black Friday and stores have earned decent profit.

As stated in the reports of the sources, retailers consider Black Friday 2009 sales have paid their efforts and it has been a success. Though thousands of people came to the stores for shopping their required products, some economic analysts do not want to compare this year sales with pre-recession time. Job scenario of the country has completely changed after recession and this year too there were thousands of job cuts in different parts of the country. People have spent each dollar carefully and economic analysts do not want to make comparison between this year’s sale with the pre-recession years.

Though the economists have been little bit skeptic about the success of the Black Friday, small retailers as well as the major retail chains of the country were satisfied with the sales, reported sources. Many retail chains did not close on the Thanksgiving Night so that people can start shopping from night and avoid the early morning rush. However, people have come to the stores in the wee hours of the day to get the most profitable discount. Early reports of Black Friday did not have any information of accidents or injuries and retailers were happy.
