RDX seized in Kashmir
August 23rd, 2011 - 9:46 pm ICT by IANSJammu, Aug 23 (IANS) The Jammu and Kashmir Police said they had foiled a major terrorist plot with the recovery of 16 kg of RDX from a suspected militant-hideout in Reasi district Tuesday, but gave no further details.
Acting on specific information, a police continent raided a hideout of militants in the jungles of Reasi, about 100 km north of Jammu, and seized the explosives.
With this recovery, police have been able to “foil a major terror plot”, a police spokesman said, but did not reveal the nature of the plot.
