Raids to nab teacher accused of harassing girls
December 6th, 2010 - 12:15 pm ICT by IANSPanchkula (Haryana), Dec 6 (IANS) Raids were conducted in Haryana and Chandigarh Monday to nab a music teacher who has been accused of sexually harassing five girl students, police here said.
Sham Bahadur Thapa, a teacher at Army Public School, was booked Sunday for allegedly sexually harassing Class 5 students.
“We received a complaint against Thapa from the principal of the Army Public School here. We raided his house in Sector 25 (in Panchkula) late Sunday but did not find him there. We are raiding various places in Haryana and Chandigarh in search of the accused teacher,” a police official said.
