Quake rocks Japan again
April 9th, 2011 - 9:46 pm ICT by IANSTokyo, April 9 (IANS) A 6.1-magnitude quake Saturday night jolted Japan’s third largest island of Kyushu, but there was no immediate report of damage or casualty, Xinhua reported.
The quake occurred at 21.57 p.m. and its epicentre was at a depth of 21.3 km, the US Geological Survey said. The region is about 970 km southwest of Tokyo. No tsunami alert was issued.
