Qatar Airways to start Kolkata operations July 27
March 10th, 2011 - 8:37 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 10 (IANS) As part of its expansion strategy, Qatar Airways will start its Kolkata operations by July 27, a company statement said Thursday.
“Today’s announcement of new services to Kolkata, Oslo and Sofia reflects our commitment to connect diverse global cities via our Doha hub,” said Qatar Airways chief executive Akbar Al Baker.
Kolkata will be the 12th Indian city where the airline operates from its home-base of Doha.
