Putin spy posters put up in Moscow
July 15th, 2011 - 8:15 pm ICT by IANSMoscow, July 15 (IANS/RIA Novosti) Posters depicting Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin as a secret agent have been put up at many public places in Moscow, officials said.
Authorities vowed Friday to “find and punish” the “hooligans” who put up the posters.
The posters that appeared earlier this week announce a non-existent movie starring the former KGB officer and ex-president.
They feature Putin in a black suit with a pistol in his hand. The caption says “VV will cover up for you”. Putin’s patronymic name is Vladimirovich.
In May, posters featuring Putin and President Dmitry Medvedev apparently promoting a new collection of clothes appeared at one of Moscow’s malls.
