Pune blast toll rises to 17
February 27th, 2010 - 1:44 am ICT by IANSPune, Feb 27 (IANS) The toll in the German Bakery blast rose to 17 Friday night with a 23-year-old woman from Ambala succumbing to her injuries, police said.
Aditi Jindal died at Pune’s Budhrani Hospital at 9.45 p.m.
The blast ripped through the popular German Bakery eatery Feb 13, killing nine people on the spot, and a further seven have since died of injuries.
The dead include five foreign nationals and 11 Indians, most of them students.
