Proud of Zeta-Jones for seeking help: Demi Lovato
April 15th, 2011 - 2:23 pm ICT by IANSLondon, April 15 (IANS) Actress Demi Lovato says she is proud of Catherine Zeta-Jones for taking the decision to seek help for bipolar disorder.
Zeta-Jones checked into a mental health facility, Silver Hill Hospital in Connecticut, last week to combat a serious bout of depression, after a tough year supporting her husband Michael Douglas through his throat cancer battle, reports contactmusic.com.
Douglas, who underwent chemotherapy for throat cancer last year, said in January he was rid of the disease.
In a post on her Twitter page, Lovato writes: “I don’t know Catherine Zeta-Jones personally but what she has decided to do… SO brave… and SO difficult but worth it… I’m proud of her.”
Lovato herself had recently sought rehab treatment for an eating disorder, admitting she “basically had a nervous breakdown”.
