Protection for Infosys and Electronic City in Bangalore
November 25th, 2009 - 7:58 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 25 (IANS) Nearly 170 Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel are providing protection to Infosys Technologies and the Electronic City in Bangalore, parliament was told Wednesday.
Following the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai, the government promulgated an ordinance to provide paramilitary security cover to critical installations of national importance in the private sector, Minister of State for Home Affairs Ajay Maken told the Rajya Sabhaq.
Private sector companies are required to pay for the security cover.
