Property dealer shot dead in Ghaziabad
December 15th, 2010 - 12:59 am ICT by IANSGhaziabad, Dec 14 (IANS) A property dealer was Tuesday evening shot dead allegedly by a drunk man at a cocktail party here, police said.The victim, Amit Chaudhary, was attending the party in the tehsil compound under Sihani Gate police station after executing the registered sale deed of the property he bought for Rs.3 crore from a man identified as Davendra.
At about 6.30 p.m., Bijendra alias Lallu joined them and a scuffle suddenly broke out. A heavily drunk Lallu took out his licensed pistol and fired four shots at Amit, a police official said. Two bullets passed through his chest.
Amit was rushed to hospital but he was declared brought dead.
“After killing the property dealer, Lallu fled in his car. We are trying to nab him,” said Superintendent of Police (City) A.K. Vijaita.
