Chinkara has been declared Rajasthan’s state animal and is protected under wildlife laws.
“The bodies of three chinkaras were recovered from an army camp in Neembla area. The jawans are yet to be identified,” said a forest official.
He added that an army vehicle suspected to have been used in the poaching has also been seized.
“An enquiry has been ordered by the army and if anyone is found guilty, action will be taken against him,” an army spokesperson said.
