The chopper made the emergency landing in the Gandhewara village of Muzaffarnagar.
“The private helicopter was hired by the passengers from Delhi to Chandigarh. Preliminary investigations reveal that the chopper had to make the emergency landing after it developed some technical problem in its fuel pump,” Superintendent of Police Praveen Kumar told reporters in Muzaffarnagar, some 350 km from here.
“All the three people, the pilot and two passengers, who were present inside the chopper at the time of emergency landing are safe,” he added.
According to the police, a team of engineers is attending to the fault in the chopper.
