Mumbai, Jan 25 (IANS) Thirty-eight police officers from Maharashtra, including one woman, figure in the list of Republic Day honours which were announced Monday.
Of them, two officers - Additional Deputy Commissioner (State Intelligence Department-Political) Shirish Janardhan Inamdar and State Reserve Police Commandant Babarao Sakharao Ingle - have been awarded the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

Two other officers - Inspector Sandip Dadaji Khiratkar and Sub-Inspector Kiran Vasant Bhosale, both with the Railway Protection Force here - have awarded the President’s Police Medal for Gallantry.

One officer - Sarat Chandra Parhi of the Railway Protection Force - has been honoured with the Indian Police Medal for Meritorious Service.

The Police Medal for Meritorious Service has been awarded to:
