President Bush signs historic n-deal law

Bush has signed the enabling law on the India-US civil nuclear deal making clear there would be no change in the implementing 123 agreement including the US commitment on nuclear fuel assurances.“This is a big deal,” said Bush as he signed the “H.R. 7081, the United States-India Nuclear Cooperation Approval and Nonproliferation Enhancement Act” at 2:34 p.m. Wednesday (00:04 a.m. IST Thursday) in the East Room of the White House, which has witnessed many a historic event.
