Policeman, soldier killed in Kashmir
April 5th, 2011 - 6:49 pm ICT by IANSSrinagar, April 5 (IANS) A police officer and a solider were killed in a gun battle Tuesday with separatists in Jammu and Kashmir, police said. The battle is still raging.
A police officer said the deaths took place in Dadsara village of Pulwama, 30 km from Srinagar, when militants hidden in a house opened fire after being asked to surrender.
The dead included a sub-inspector of the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
