Police man shoots wife, arrested
March 14th, 2011 - 9:23 pm ICT by IANSSrinagar, March 14 (IANS) A Jammu and Kashmir police officer was arrested Monday for shooting and critically wounding his wife with his service pistol.
According to police, Mehraj-ud-Din Baba, a sub-inspector, fired at Nayeema in Kangan in north Kashmir Sunday night.
The woman has been admitted in the Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences Soura.
