Police hunt for Blueline killer driver
May 9th, 2011 - 3:19 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 9 (IANS) Police said Monday they were still hunting for a Blueline driver who rammed his bus into a bus stop here killing a 28-year-old man and injuring 12 people.
The bus owner, Ranjeet Singh, was questioned regarding the driver but that has not yielded any result, a police officer said.
The incident took place at Kashmere Gate early Sunday. All the injured, including a head constable, are stated to be out of danger. The deceased was a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
The privately-owned and rashly driven Blueline buses have killed hundreds in the capital. Although their numbers have been drastically cut, they continue to cause lethal accidents.
