Police building collapses in West Bengal

Kolkata, March 28 (IANS) A three-storey police outpost building has collapsed in West Bengal. No casualty was reported, an official said Saturday.
The police outpost building, at Jahangirnagar in Burdwan district, caved in suddenly Friday night, a police officer said.

“No casualty has been reported in the accident, as all 10 cops, who were inside the building managed a narrow escape,” the official said.

“The debris is now being cleared so that the arms and ammunitions can be recovered from the remains,” he said.

The building was said to be dilapidated and subsided due to lack of maintenance.
