Poisonous gas kills seven in Jharkhand

Ranchi, May 30 (IANS) Seven people died after inhaling poisonous gas emanating from a well under construction in Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum district, police said Friday. The police said that some villagers were cleaning the well in Dewarisai village Thursday evening when a man fell into it. To save him, six people entered the well. All of them died after inhaling the poisonous gas.
