PM returns home from Bali and Singapore

New Delhi, Nov 20 (IANS) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh landed here Sunday night after a hectic four-day visit to Bali and Singapore.
The prime minister, who did not address the media as he usually does on returning from a foreign trip, attended the India-ASEAN and East Asia Summits in Bali. He also held a several bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summits, including with US President Barack Obama, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and also had a brief pull aside meeting with Australia’s Julia Gillard.
In Singapore, where he was for two days, he held bilateral talks with the leadership and unveiled a bust and plaque of Jawaharlal Nehru, a man Singapore counts as a friend.
The prime minister returned just in time for the winter session of parliament beginning Tuesday.
