PM meets President Pranab

New Delhi, July 26 (IANS) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Thursday called on President Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhavan. This was the first meeting between the two since Mukherjee assumed president’s office Wednesday.
“It was a courtesy call…there was nothing on agenda,” an official in the Prime Minister’s Office told IANS.
The prime minister drove down to Rashtrapati Bhavan.
“The meeting lasted half an hour,” the official added.
