PM leaves for Italy for G8-G5 summit

New Delhi, July 7 (IANS) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh left for Italy Tuesday to participate in the G8-G5 summit to be held in the earthquake-hit mountain town of L’Aquila, 100 km northeast of Rome.
The prime minister will be attending outreach meetings of the G8, the world’s most wealthy and industrialised countries, and G5, the major emerging economies in the world, during his four-day trip.
