PM greets nation on Christmas

New Delhi, Dec 24 (IANS) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Thursday greeted the nation on the occasion of Christmas and described the festival as a celebration of peace and love.
“The festival is a celebration of peace, love and hope and a time to rejoice in the company of family and friends,” he said.
“The spirit of Christmas strengthens the values of brotherhood, tolerance and caring.”
“May the spirit of Christmas be with all our countrymen throughout the New Year,” he added.
Christmas will be celebrated Dec 25.
