PM celebrates birthday mid-air

On Board Air India One, Sep 27 (IANS) A relaxed Prime Minister Manmohan Singh cut a chocolate cake to mark his 79th birthday on his flight back to India from Frankfurt.
It was the fourth birthday aboard Air India One for the prime minister.
As he cut the cake on the aircraft, a group of journalists sang Happy Birthday!
Close aides including private secretary Jaideep Sarkar and media adviser Harish Khare joined the celebrations.
Manmohan Singh was returning home after attending the 66th session of the UN General Assembly.
Earlier in New York, the prime minister celebrated the birthday with Gursharan Kaur, his wife of 53 years, and two of his three daughters — Upinder and Amrit.
