PM announces ex-gratia to flood victims

New Delhi, Oct 6 (IANS) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Tuesday sanctioned ex-gratia of Rs.100,000 each to the families of those killed in the floods in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Goa.
In a statement, the prime minister expressed grief over the loss of lives in the four states. The ex-gratia would be paid from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund to the next of kin of the deceased.
