Pleasant morning for Delhiites, rain expected
May 27th, 2011 - 11:15 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 27 (IANS) Delhi residents woke up to a cool and pleasant morning Friday with the minimum temperature settling at 25.3 degrees Celsius, two notches below the average for the season.
The city will see a partly cloudy sky with the possibility of rain and thunderstorm, said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 38.7 and 27 degrees Celsius. The humidity was recorded at 66 percent.
Light showers accompanied by strong winds Thursday brought down the temperature to a minimum of 29.2 degrees Celsius, 3 degrees below the average.
