Plane’s tyre bursts while landing at Raipur
June 24th, 2010 - 1:38 am ICT by IANSRaipur, June 24 (IANS) A Kingfisher Airlines flight with at least 75 passengers on board had a close shave late Wednesday as one of its tyres burst while landing here, an official said.
The tyre burst occurred as the Aizawl-Hyderabad flight IT 2804, which goes via Kolkata and Raipur, touched down here at about 8 p.m., a Kingfisher Airlines official said.
While no one was injured, the flight was cancelled on technical grounds, she added.
Kingfisher has also cancelled its Raipur-Delhi flight (IT 3657), scheduled to take off later, due to technical reasons.
