PIL in Rajastan High court on Jaipur fire
November 2nd, 2009 - 12:06 pm ICT by NksagarCentral and state government has showed their inability to fire fight the IOC depot which continued for the fourth day and the fire even spread to the factory premises in neighbourhood areas. Moreover the Pink city has turned into black city for the fire to allow to shoot to its own dimensions without any scant effort to contain the bursts. Public interest litigation therefore can up for hearing in the RHC for the failure of the government to press in to action its Disaster Managment team.Rajasthan High Court held a special hearing on a PIL alleging that the state government has failed in disaster management as it has not been able to control the fire. Fire at the IOC fuel depot in Jaipur raged for the fourth day on Sunday. The flames died down in eight of the 11 storage tanks from where two more bodies were recovered pushing the toll in the devastating blaze to 10.
