Pickpockets kill computer student
January 2nd, 2012 - 11:40 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 2 (IANS) A 21-year-old computer student was stabbed to death during a scuffle with pickpockets in east Delhi, police said Monday.
Rajnish, who hailed from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, was killed around 5 p.m. Sunday in Kalyanpuri area.
He was pursuing an MCA from the Indira Gandhi National Open University and was living in New Kondli area of east Delhi.
The scuffle started in a bus when local goons picked the pocket of Rajnish’s friend Manish.
“They were stabbed by the accused who fled from the spot,” said a police officer.
Rajnish died in hospital due so excessive loss of blood, he added.
