Paul McCartney Enthralls Audience At Fenway

paulThe good news to all the Paul McCartney fans is that his tickets for Fenway concert is still available. The legendary “Beatle”, McCartney had literally wowed the audience as the singer took the audience to a musical trip.

On Wednesday the tickets were sold starting from $75 which is nowhere compared with $334 for Rolling Stones concert at Fenway, which happened in 2005. In a two hour concert more than 30 songs were played by Paul McCartney who started off with a steamy aggressive version of “I’ve got a Feeling”. The sixty seven year old Paul McCartney, once again proved that age didn’t curb him from performing in the way he did before.

The legendary singer/composer/song writer, McCartney received a standing ovation as he belted out the smash hit songs one after another. Although there was a temporary glitch that came up with “loose jack” but he overlooked it and did an impromptu for 4.5 minutes on “the Legend of Loose Jack”, going in for the “Let me Roll In”, “Hey Jude”, “The End”, “Give Peace a Chance”, “Blackbird”. The audience had one gala time as they witnessed McCartney enthralling them with his showmanship and compositions.

“I’m not going to play the recorded version for them ” said Paul to Abe. The stage was set at centrefield. The charm lay much in his acoustic guitar but there was this vegetarian diet that had endowed him with such a whiff of stamina. He said the song on Blackbird was inspired from some black girl as he talked about old days when racism was rampant. McCartney also did a tribute to Lennon as he rendered the song “Here Today” from the album Tug Of War.
