Passenger train derails in Assam, no casualties
October 27th, 2010 - 3:58 pm ICT by IANSGuwahati, Oct 27 (IANS) Three coaches of a passenger train were derailed Wednesday after a blast on a railway track in Assam, an official said. No casualties were reported.
The incident took place near Haflong, about 300 km from Assam’s main city Guwahati, when Barak Valley Express was on its way from Lumding to Silchar in the state.
