New Delhi, Dec 5 (IANS) Satirically calling it a “debate with no adjournments”, Team Anna has invited leaders of all political parties at Jantar Mantar Dec 11 to speak on the Lokpal bill.
Parliament has seen literally no business since the winter session began Nov 22 over protest on various issues. The session is slated to end Dec 22.
“Dec 11th, Jantar Mantar debate with no adjournments on Lokpal. Come+listen+Ask Qs (questions) & clarify doubts. Political reps (representatives) are invited to speak,” Bedi said on microblogging site Twitter.
A team spokesperson said formal invites will be sent to all political parties.
Anna Hazare will sit on a one-day token fast Dec 11 at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. The fast is to protest the government’s version of the Lokpal bill, which the activists have dubbed as weak.
