Pakistani youth detained in Lucknow

Lucknow, Nov 27 (IANS) A Pakistani young man has been detained here Thursday evening, and police sources said he may be linked to the Mumbai terror attack.A police official identified the man as Mohammad Ameen. Senior officials, however, refused to give the reason for his detention.

Ameen was staying in a hotel and said that he had come to Lucknow to meet a friend, Lucknow police chief Akhil Kumar told IANS.

A resident of Karachi, he arrived in Lucknow four days ago. “We are trying to find why he came here. We are also trying to locate his friend,” Kumar added.
